Heartland Credit Union is looking for a Business Relationship Manager to provide personalized Treasury service solutions. If you are a positive, friendly, and motivated individual who enjoys customer service and building relationships, then this is for you. This position will support business members and commercial services staff through various channels by providing expert consultation related to treasury management services. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and influential relationship-building skills will be a great fit for this position and you will be part of a growing company!

Office hours - Monday- Friday

LOCATION

Hutchinson Branch at 900 E. 23rd Hutchinson, KS 67502 OR Maize Branch at 3777 N. Maize Road Wichita, KS 67205

ABOUT THIS POSITION

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

• Cultivates strong professional business relationships with members and business professionals.
• Follows up with members and related departments to ensure a quality onboarding experience for business members.
• Resolves any concerns by analyzing issues, while identifying and providing solutions.
• Completes activities that help the credit union gain new members including prospective calling, networking, and leveraging existing business relationships.
• Maintains sales database of qualified leads and records of sales activity.
• Leads successful achievement of established sales goals.
• Implements effective sales techniques.
• Ensures accurate sales records and tracks progress.
• Participates and represents Heartland in various community, civic, and professional organizations.
• Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
• Provides superior customer service to our members.
• Proactively support and advance HCU's brand platform.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of three years of business deposit services and business development experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of business products, services and loans.
• Basic business lending knowledge.
• Familiarity with financial institution branch functions, policies, and procedures.

SKILLS:

• Well organized and attentive to detail
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle conflict.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and enforce policies and procedures.
• Strong math skills.
• Willingness to assist others.
• Strong sales/referral skills.
• Able to operate related computer applications and PC.
• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Flexible and open to change.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver's license.
• Complete required screenings.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Required to sit, stand, and walk. Standing for extended periods of time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
