Heartland Credit Union is looking for a full-time Teller to work at our branch in Hutchinson. WORK DETAILS

All Locations:

This person will work from our downtown Hutchinson branch, located at 129 West Avenue A OR 900 E 23rd OR 103 S. Kansas Ave in Haven

Traveling position

This person will be based at the Avenue A or 23rd and Severance Branch and will travel as needed to other branches in Hutchinson, Haven, Newton, or Wichita to provide needed coverage.

This person will be assigned to a branch each day based on staffing needs and will travel frequently to all branches including Hutchinson, Haven, Newton and Wichita. The home branch will be located at 900 E 23rd Ave, Hutchinson or 129 W. Avenue A

Ave A PT or FT

Must be available to work 36-40 hours per week, between 7:45 am - 5:45pm M-Th, 7:45 am - 6:15 F and then 8:45am - 12:15pm on rotating Saturdays.

OR

Looking for someone to work part-time (20-24 hours), Monday - Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and rotating Saturdays from 8:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Traveling position & Regular

Schedule will be based on staffing needs, must be available from 7:45 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 7:45 a.m. - 6:15 p.m. Friday and 8:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. on Saturdays.

Will work rotating Saturdays.

Haven

Schedule will be based on staffing needs, must be available from 8:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. Friday and 8:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. on Saturdays.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

• Greets customers entering the branch, directs them to the correct staff member for assistance and provides assistance with ATM usage, coin counting machine, safety deposit boxes and other branch services.
• Responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing a variety of paying and receiving functions including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances.
• Verifies cash totals and balances each day's transactions.
• Educate members of credit union products and services.
• Balances ATM machines, coin counters, and cash dispensing/recycling machines in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensures members are promptly and professionally served.
• Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
• Provides superior service to our members.
• Proactively support and advance HCU's brand platform.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Experience working in a financial institution is helpful but not required.
• Proficient with technology and variety of software including MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Well organized and attentive to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to move 30 lbs. occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently.
• Stationary for extended periods of time.
