Heartland Credit Union is looking for a full-time Teller to work at our branch in Hutchinson. If you are a positive, friendly, and motivated individual who enjoys customer service and sales, then this is for you. LOCATION

All Locations: This person will work from our downtown Hutchinson branch, located at 129 West Avenue A OR 900 E 23rd OR 103 S. Kansas Ave in Haven

Traveling position

This person will be based at the Avenue A or 23rd and Severance Branch and will travel as needed to other branches in Hutchinson, Haven, Newton, or Wichita to provide needed coverage.

This person will be assigned to a branch each day based on staffing needs and will travel frequently to all branches including Hutchinson, Haven, Newton and Wichita. The home branch will be located at 900 E 23rd Ave, Hutchinson or 129 W. Avenue A

SCHEDULE.

Ave A PT

Must be available to work 36-40 hours per week, between 7:15 am - 6:15pm M-F and then 7:45am - 12:15pm on rotating Saturdays.

OR

Looking for someone to work part-time (20-24 hours), Monday - Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and rotating Saturdays from 7:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Traveling position & Regular

Schedule will be based on staffing needs, must be available from 7:15 a.m. - 6:15 p.m. Monday - Friday and 8:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. on Saturdays.

Will work rotating Saturdays.

Haven Schedule will be based on staffing needs, must be available from 8:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. Monday - Friday and 8:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. on Saturdays.

DUTIES

• Greets customers entering the branch, directs them to the correct staff member for assistance and provides assistance with ATM usage, coin counting machine, safety deposit boxes and other branch services.
• Responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing a variety of paying and receiving functions.
• Balances each day's transactions and verifies cash totals.
• Educate members of credit union products and services.
• Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
• Provides superior service to our members.
• Proactively support and advance HCU's brand platform.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Experience working in a financial institution is helpful but not required.
• Proficient with technology and variety of software including MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Friendly and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Well organized.
• Provide excellent customer service to our members.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Flexible and open to change.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver's license.
• Will be required to complete Heartland's Teller Education program.
• Complete required employment screenings.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift 30 lbs. occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
