WORK DETAILS
This position is based in person at our Support Center located at 4000 N Monroe, Hutchinson KS. Upon consistently meeting designated personal sales and service goals, employees may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Must be available to work 36-40 hours per week, between 8:00 am - 5:45pm M-F and then 7:45am - 12:15pm on rotating Saturdays.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The eBranch Financial Services Assistant will provide quality and efficient service to our members via phone, text, live chat, and email. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Provides members personalized, exceptional member experience, with each interaction.
- Assists members with inquiries via phone, text, live chat, and email related to accounts, products and services in a professional and prompt manner.
- Performs account transfers and loan payments via phone.
- Receives and processes changes of name, addresses, and other account information as needed.
- Provides support to internal members for questions related to fraud, credit and debit card disputes, wire transfers, IRA's, HSA's, and online bill payments.
- Receives and distributes incoming company-wide faxes to proper department/individual.
- Meets assigned monthly goals for established service levels.
- Attend meetings and training as required.
- Actively contribute to a positive, professional working environment
- Represent HCU in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain privacy of member account information.
- Proactively support and advance HCU's brand and culture platform.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school graduate.
- Previous experience with a full-service financial institution helpful.
- At least one year previous customer service and/or sales experience required.
- Self-motivated, self-starter, driven to succeed.
- Comfortable with using technology and assisting others with technology.
- Solid written, verbal and public relation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Solid time management skills and ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in MS Office programs.
- Sedentary work; stationary most of the time.
